Perfectly coordinated products enable an easier, efficient workflow that on account of its safe use increases long-term success in treatment. Fewer work steps throughout the entire endo treatment, with single-use instruments, ensure user-friendly handling and convincing cost-effectiveness. The VDW products cover the entire treatment procedure, from preparation, irrigation and root canal filling to post-endodontic management.

The method of preparation achieved allows efficient irrigation and is ideal for both cold and warm obturation techniques. When VDW motors are used, the fracture risk of the instruments is minimised. The classic motor VDW.GOLD^®RECIPROC^® provides additional safety due to the integrated apex locator with automatic apex stop.

Effective disinfection of the entire canal system is one of the most frequently underestimated aims of root canal treatment. Since mechanical instrumentation is unable to reach all the areas of the root canal system, careful irrigation and chemical disinfection are all the more relevant to achieving a successful outcome. With acoustic streams and cavitation effects the sound-activated endo irrigation tip EDDY^TM brings about efficient cleaning of the complex canal system. On account of the polyamide material there is no risk of any undesirable rework on canal anatomy.

In sealing the root canal the warm obturation system GUTTAFUSION^® has proved reliable. By means of a unique carrier-based technique, warmed gutta-percha is introduced to the isthmi and ramifications of the root canal in a single step. The result is a homogeneous, wall-adapted 3D obturation. In post-endodontic management, quartz fibre posts are used for the fixation and retention of filling material. The DT ILLUSION^TMXRO^®SL posts are fracture-resistant and durable and have excellent radiopacity.
